News — explorers rum
We are very proud of our Explorers Rum, not only does is take its unique flavour profile from the Yorkshire grown Sugar Kelp but also from Heather grown in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Last week we spent a beautiful Friday evening with F Stop Brand photography capturing some beautiful images of our Explorers Rum and appreciating the delicate little flower which brings so much flavour.
The unique sweet and salty flavour profile of our Explorers Rum comes from the Sugar Kelp we infuse in it. We add the seaweed which is dried first to our rum along with hand foraged heather, local honey and the warmth of ginger and clove. To celebrate the launch of our rum we donned our wellies and headed for the coast to spend join SeaGrown in their hometown of Scarborough to spend the day learning all about how they got started and how they harvest the seaweed.
